Does The Saboteur (BLUS30407) work discless?

Hey guys i got a backup of the saboteur from my friend. Problem is my BD's dead.

Whenever i try to load the game through multiman i get the red logo and then black screen. When i checked the Data Utility there's 26 kb of the game data installed. I tried internal/external same problem.
Then i tried with eboot fix i get game data corrupted error. I saw a compatibilty list thread here that says it needs disc and another one says it works discless on external. So im pretty confused here.. Any help?

Tried Sel + x to load it off external?

Yep same problem.

You can check around on this site and see if there was ever a package made for it, or you can follow Dean's tutorial on making your own package (sorry, can't be of much more help here, as I've never gone the package route).

Did it, get game data is corrupted error.. does it mean the eboot's bad?

Could, or the package wasn't created correctly, or there's another step you have to follow (I've heard you have to shadow copy something, but once again, I've never done the process)

I also tried direct booting the game.. although this time i just get the red logo loading screen but it just loads forever, no black screen..

I've been trying to get it working discless and have yet to succeed.. I'll try a few more ways (debug update) and then rule it out 100%.
