DO NOT uninstall Backup Manager 1.1 if you have games in dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/gamez

My backup manager got corrupted so I decided to uninstall it, to my surprise it took over 10 mins to uninstall so I knew something was going on. I rebooted the system before it finished and found out it had deleted my LAUN12345 directory along with all my games! Devastated,I browsed all around the directories and luckily I found a directory where a few of my favorite games were retained (which I had no idea why, perhaps it's like a recycling bin?). I moved the games into dev_hdd0/GAMES where Multiman could access them, but I do not have the permission to create another LAUN12345 directory. Anybody had a similar experience?

Duh, each manager uses different folders to backup games. Sometimes when you delete that manager it takes the games with it.

Did you learn a lesson?

^ The kind of attitude you get on this board is way beyond normal everyday human interaction. Yes, jackass. But like you said it only does that 'sometimes' so it's not expected.
