Cool. But how?

I still don't get when you do insert your bd and what is a "loaded" position (I'm assuming it's when a disk is inside the console).
0) xmb
1) multiman
2) multiman, boot the game
3) multiman, going back to xmb
4) xmb, loading the /app_home/PS3_GAME
5) the game is loading
BANG, back to xmb
At which point should I put the disk inside?
Sorry for hunting you down like this
Thanks

When i read this thread, i laugh since no one mentions one simple thing, if you have a brocken drive/bad lazer or whatever, how, please indulge me, how the **** can you back up your games? so if you want to have disc less so you dont have to spend what ever aomunt to get it fixed.
Does this mean your out of luck when it comes to playing games you dont have? so your telling me that you just going to play the same 10 or what ever games you supposedly own the rest of your life?
Come on now, lets be honest here lol
We know why, cus in the end, you cant play newer games and the only way to play said newer games is to pirate them, since you dont have a working drive, how else will you get to play something different? lol

Some people are super poor and don't have the knowledge or desire to seek knowledge on howto fix their dead bluray disc issues. So discless is only option for those people.
Its fair enough, not all of us can be techno experts nor have spare cash (for some people $40 is allot of money). Allot of people get these consoles on hired purchases so its understandable how someone with NO money can get a console yet get in a jam when it breaks after warranty.

Ill agree with you on some things, but in the end, and this is not me attacking you cus is not, piracy is piracy, and playing games is not a need, is a luxury that in the end, if anybody gets cought, the excuse of well i dont have money and am poor, it aint gonna fly in a court of law.
People will pirate, i used to back in the day, but since i can afford them now i chose not too.
Is just sad how people circle the wagon around the real reason they want disc less for, thats all

You don't, so you're special?

The difference between amount of time you spend to boot a game backup via blu ray and blu ray usage playing normally is quite big. Laser should hold out for muuuch longer.

You can roll your eyes all you want, in the end i know i can afford them and i dont have to pirate them like you probably, as stated before, i used to, didnt deny that i used to, key word being USED TO just in case you missed it.
You can also stop by my house and check out my 2004 Honda NSX With the veilside Body kit that cost more than probably your house :P
Dont like to brag, but you ask for it lol
In the end you know what i said is true, and the truth hurts, specially if YOU cant afford even a rental copy
