Directboot and discless not working at all?
Directboot and discless not working at all? –

This isn't a HUGE deal, and I know that both of these features have low compatibility anyway, but I see many of my games are supposed to work with direct boot and/or discless, and none of them do. I have to have a disc in the drive and go to XMB before starting the game. I'm on 3.55 kmeaw, 160gb slim loading games from internal. I've tried Gaia and Multiman, and tried both with and without the new Hermes payload that just came out last night. Is there anything else that needs to be installed?
I also noticed that randomly when I'd start Multiman, it would say "Cannot detect resident payload" and after selecting a game and going to XMB, it was still just showing the disc game I have in the drive. After restarting a few times, it would eventually work again. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with diretboot and discless not working, I just thought I'd add it here just in case.
Like I said, it's not a huge deal since I can still play games, it's just an annoyance.

i did a downgrade to multiman 1.13.01 to have my diskless/directboot support back.
i installed gaia 2.06 to try out new syscall36 solution as i can't have two different multimans.
if i would know that better compatibility under CFW means disc mode i rather stay with my 3.41/jb/hermesv4b.

Latest Gaia and multiman 1.14.00 disabled discless booting,
And for direct booting, I personally don't used it. I'd rather boot from xmb with disc in drive as it will boot 100% lol
Anyways dean the creator of MM said that the next version (1.14.01) will get discless/direct boot support again, so just wait for that.

Dean has released a beta update for Multiman to re-introduce discless booting, look in the official thread towards the end.
