did someone was able to fix MGS4?

i have MGS4 on my external drive and i try playing it on Multiman but it get stuck right after i press start on the game.
i also split the files into 4 pieces 4.1gb each but i still couldn't be able to run the game . i have a ps3 (30gb)
can someone help me by pass this problem..

yes, i have also this problem, this game must be on internal disk.. you must copy this game on internal disk like manny others.. only then it works..

For your information: if the files are split then the game won't run
