    Hello all

    I've created a working package for BF BC2 (BLES00779).
now I want to create a USB package, the thing is there's no other reference to game dir except dev_bdvd which I replaces, and the game works internally...

now I can't replace dev_bdvd with dev_usb because they're not the same length, and I also can't replace it with dev_usb001 for the same reason.

I've tried to change to /dev_usb and add a 00 HEX at the end, which didn't work...

Any way to overcome this issue?

    thanks!

    Use dev_usb0, or dev_usb1.

I've tried accessing dev_usb1 and dev_usb0 through flashFXP and it failed, so I assumed it's not a proper mapping...

    dev_usb001 succeeded, though...

    you sure it'll map correctly?

I heard from someone, can't remember who or where, but the far left USB slot is "dev_usb006"

    turn

    /dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR

    into

    /dev_usb001/3_GAME/USRDIR

you have to shorten up the PS3_GAME to make room for the 01 in dev_usb001, also you can change 3_GAME to anything you want as long as it is 6 characters.

thing is I have no PS3_GAME reference in the ELF, so I can't shorten anything... only /dev_bdvd

suppose your are talking about Uncharted3 (let's dream a little)
    dev_bdvd/ps3_game/usrdir
    dev_usb001/Unchr3/usrdir

same lenght and you can organize this way your games in usb

edit: saw your last post... try usb001 maybe helps, but i don't think, the lenght is changed this way
