Ok, so, I have no intention of upgrading to 3.56 OFW.

I didnt get any mails, not had any messages, but simply do not care for online play, im useless compared to the kids that play online, and it ruins my game.

My issue is not having DEMOs that i used to download a lot from PSN before buying a game.

Im aware this is my problem, and my own fault, im not prepared to buy another ps3 just to try out demos!

    So what are my options?

Are they available to download on the NET to install via FTP or External USB?

Im aware I can download full backups of games., usenet also means this is probably quicker than the sloppy speeds i used to get on PSN, but I simply want demos....(which are normally available before the full games)

No Im not talking about Piracy, Im talking about trying before buying,

Im one of these people that likes to have the shelf full of bluray / game cases , however, I love having games on my HDD so the kids dont have to go near the shelf and I dont find disks laying on the floor!!!!

(is it wrong for me to think my young kids should be playing mario on the ps3 rather than Black ops anyway??? lol)

Can people backup Demos that are on there Ps3??

Ah, do the PSN bypass methods continue to work ? (f**kPSN etc) or are they going to be short lived now with the banhammer?

    Thanks

Download your demo from one of these sites.

    PSX Store

    store.brewology.com

Then find the program PSN Demo Installer by stadicon, should be on these forums somewhere if not use google. Also, make sure to read the readme for instructions.

    OMG , cheers lol...

i notice the games are pkg files, will they simply install to the XMB without the need for PSN Demo Installer?

Ill get that app anyway, and try a pkg to see what happens.

cheers for your help, and the rapid response!!

Ignore that question, im now aware it wont work like that
