defective blu ray laser..

i've been tinkering and up to now still no progress.
i can't launch any games thru xmb /app_home/games/
it gives an error and i can't make it work.

i've used rogero, gaia and multiman, still no luck.

i've just wanted to still continue playing my back ups even though i have a damaged blu ray drive.
is it possible that i can play games without the needing of inserting an original blu ray disc?

i'm still new in this cfw, and sadly, when the blu ray became defective, i didn't have a chance to back up my games.

help would be appreciated.
btw: im in kmeaw cfw 3.55, used fix permissions etc.
i can't make nfs:hp work, just returns me to xmb and i can't launch it through app_home/games/

I have been playing around with my old phat 60 with a bad laser and finally got all my games working discless although I dont have alot or many new ones,I just searched and read everything I could find about the game I was working on and tried myself,some games just will not go discless(yet) I use my new slim to copy my discs to usb drive then copy them to the phat. I did have to use the package trick for lbp2 and john daly golf to work discless,but GOW collection, madden 08,ratchet and clank crack in time,need for speed prostreet,and a few others boot without a disc, 3.55 kmeaw and latest multiman good luck,,I just put some emu's movies and music on my old phat 60 and leave it in the spare room as a ps2 dvd cd player with extras to pass time with. my blueray laser is the only thing that doesnt work upgraded 120gb almost full, now I'm bored again,think I will play with my wifes singstar next and see what I can do with that. I have more fun playing with my systems than playing games lol
