DeanK EbootFix with 3.60 Keys is this working?

i used to use ebootMOD all the time when i was on 3.41.it took like 10-15 secs and i had a fixed eboot to place in a devoted folder and then ftp to my ps3 and overwrite the old eboot.
does this not work anymore? im not having any luck on 3.55 but i didn't get to try out a 3.60 game while on 3.41 so i don't know if the keys are working for the ebootmod program or if its a problem with 3.55
searching the net for fixes is a PITA plus latter on you always find dead links....no way man.i need to know how to do this myself.

also i wish someone would explain to me why they use .pkg files when posting? what ever happened to a good old fashion simple eboot swap? was that so hard seriously? anyway.whatever has changed please school me so i know what to do.
if i go back to 3.41 will things be as simple as they used to be where ebootmod and gia manager did it all in a flash even with 3.60 games? (the new gia mananger doesn't edit the sfo for you anymore. i have to use multiman for that which loads too slow compared,then doesn't load the game to xmb and i have to use gia anyway uggg!!) say the word and it's downgraded baby lol.

oh great now some of my games on hdd don't work anymore when they did on 3.41
im thinking that batman game wasn't worth swapping to 3.55 hopefully i just need to ftp them over and they'll work again.
what a PITA this 3.55 seems to be.never seen anything like this on 3.41.
i lik not having to load hermes vc icon to get into jailbrake mode,but that seems to be the only bonus about being on 3.55,the rest is a worthless hassle lol.

do i have everything i should have guys or is 3.55 really a pia compared to 3.41?
please someone tell me im missing something excluded from this:

well deans ebootmod (latest release) just fixed my NFS hot pursuit eboot that made 3.41 work, now work in 3.55 so that's good.maybe this wont be too bad. i think deans tool just unmodded my modded 3.41 eboot by running it through again haha.not sure how that worked.
anyway,so back to topic. anyone able to fix a 3.60 game yet with ebootmod? the one i tried and failed with so far was dungeon siege 3.

i feel so alone here.i can't be the only one who wants to avoid googling fixes to find broken links from yesterday hassles and wants to patch his eboots quick and easy using ebootMOD.come one guys.how you fixing your games with 3.55? it can't be that hard is it? lol.
no one can at least tell me why people are passing out .pgk files now instead of eboots? anyone? anyone?
is patching 3.60 games too new so most people don't know yet and we're just downloading them or whats the story? someone has to know something.searching how to mod eboots with 3.60 keys isn't exactly yielding much for results.

by the way,this is the ps3 game backup section, yet there isn't a sticky showing how to use deans tools here.that's odd.i feel i must be using dinosaur software or something here lol.
i just thought about it,maybe you guys never had a reason to ever mod an eboot on 3.55 before and this is the reason for lack of guides here? or im just lost. cus hasn't 3.55 just played backups without modded eboots for a while now? im way behind the times i think.

ok.so i got dungeon siege 3 (my first 3.60 game attempt) to work via deanstools guys!
though it was much more hassle than when i was on 3.41, at least it worked.
ebootMOD to simply mod and then replace the boot didn't work.
so i used ebootFIX.
follow the directions in the readme to use that.
i then took the [BLES01161] Dungeon Siege III (HDD)-FW_355.pkg it made and installed that on my ps3 via usb drive.
then i used ftp program and went to hddo-game - bles01161 (that's what that package just made) and ftped all the files in (backed up to pc game folder: PS3_GAME) to their correct places without replacing anything it made there and started the game up with its newly created (by that package) XMB "psn style" icon.
hopefully someone tells me i just did this the hard way,but at least i know how to make a new game work....though a bit more time consuming than what i used to do while on 3.41.the upside i guess though is a little more time spent doing it this way makes for no need to even boot up a manager first so it's not all bad.......it beats waiting for someone to post the fix or to find it latter only to be a broken link haha.just takes a few mins for deans ebootFIX to make that pkg for ya,so it's not a major deal.
so what that means is,the game [BLES01161] i first ftp'ed in the GAMEZ folder was a waste of time to even put there,and i can delete that one,as its not even used.
so really 3.55 + this ebootFIX way = way faster getting to game play when you turn the ps3 on,than what iv been doing in the past on 3.41 anyway even if it does take a little more time to setup.it's still easy to do.

penta-post! that's like a record! i like scetool, that seems to work pretty easily and lets you know what's going on, that and ps3tools. both have gui interfaces also

Do you ever feel like no one is listening? Just to let you know what you discovered about ebootFIX/MOD has been on front page of the 3.60 keys thread since day one, just saying :-)
