Dead Space 2 - can you play from External, and where's the mod Eboot?

Hi

I've been searching around, and can't find the answer.

Can you transfer Dead Space 2 to your External HD and play it? Or is it a internal game only like GT5?

Also where is the modified Eboot? I looked in "collection of signed ps3 pkgs" and i didn't run into it.

gt5 isnt internal only ,works fine from my external

how'd you get a 17gb file to play from your external? gt.vol is 17gb's and you cant extract the psarc way...

Dead Space 2 works perfect on my external HD

i just copied it to external using multiman,it split the files and then it worked ,i had to remove an underscore from the game folder then it was all fine

Yeah, how'd you get GT5 is work from external? I can't even get it to load.

how much have you played? it cant play split files...dean will tell you that himself...

im level 11 been playing fine ,not one crash the whole time,10 hours of game time

im not the only one who has it working from external lots of people do
i can even make a video of proof if its required

wow thats awesome, can wait till tomorrow when my check clears to go pick it up and try this, been meaning to play this game, and i hope your correct, and if this works....cant we just do the same for other games without spliting the psarc file using the program to do it?
it would be great, hmmmm, going to have to try this on uncharted and killzone 2...thanks

i dont know if thats what made it work 100% as i have been messing about with gt5 for a few days and tried loads of different things ,every bm and spliting technique trying to get it to run from external ,but that was the last thing i did before it worked
