Crysis 2 Eboot patch –
03-24-2011,01:55 AM
funny how people on this forum will not post how to run games or don't know how to. Having people like me search other forums to find the answers.
Here is the patch to run crysis 2 retail version .. Do not update or game no longer run because it does not support the update with firmware 3.56.
just replace eboot and Param.sfo and run with multiman
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Hit the megaupload link above for the file
same eboot files as Marvel vs. Capcom

I am running the latest 1.01 patch with multiman without any issue. Played 1 hour last night.
What I did was backup the game and remove all game data from XMB. Before launching the game with multiman, install the 1.01 update package downloaded with Ps3GameUpdater. Then launch the game with multiman.
I also installed the 3.60 spoofer from Rebug team.

With all due respect. I don't think it is that folks don't know how. Take a long hard look at the length of the EBOOT.BIN repository thread. If they didn't know how it would not be dozens of pages long. Thanks

and the fact that sometimes is more than just the eboot and param, and if the release came with said files already in place and not specifying which ones, how are people supposed to know wich ones?

Yea, I get that. I know some games are patched differently. My reply to the OP was regarding the fact the OP implied there was no help here regarding getting games to run, and that the OP in his five posts was the only one who would help. My apologies if I offended you Alex. That was not my intention. It has just been my exp. that help is always here if you ask. If a release comes pre-patched and it runs thats great. If not, most of the scene releases from major groups come with the .nfo file that usually (I understand this is not always the case) tells which files where changed/replaced and which directories the changed or replaced files go in.

Sweet, no worries at all. Just that everyone (including yourself) has always been helpful to me. No offense to the OP either, just wanted him to know that if Crysis 2 had not been discussed b4 in detail here it may have been because it was a leak initially. Anyway, glad you took no offense. Have a good one man.
