I have a few games which I have backed up to my external HDD in backup manager, however I want to get these onto my internal HDD. If I plug this external HDD into my pc, and then FTP the "BCES" folders into the "GAMEZ" folder on my ps3, will this do the job?
thanks

If you get the Open Backup Manager you can do it with a simple button press straight from the PS3.

thanks for the suggestion, in relation to the games I currently have saved in my GAMEZ folder (I'm currently using backup manager v1).. will I have to copy these over again to use with open manager? Will my saves be affected?
thanks

I would suggest backing up any games you have with the original BM or just keeping the original installed. I made the mistake of deleting the original BM and lost all of my backups.... Had to rerip them all XD.

I've managed to backup all my games. I normally run off internal hdd but have backed up to external hdd also, for safe keeping. If I install open manager, and start using that instead of backup manager v1.. will anything happen to the saves that I have accrued whilst using backup manager v1?

I have not run into any issues with my saves. So I don't think saves would be an issue.

I have upgraded my minimus to Hermes V3, and installed Open manager 1.15 (without deleting backup manager v1... it's still there on my xmb). When I run open manager it sees all the games (that I used to run on backup manager) and I can run the games fine. Should I delete backup manager now that I am using open manager? Or should I just leave it as it is? (I know that deleting backup manager will delete all my games, but I have them all backed up so that's not a problem... my only worry is that having two "managers" may cause some sort of crashing?)
thanks
