copy ps3 protected save file

is anyone know how to copy protected ps3 save file?
i ask this because i've already replace my old 80gb to 640gb,but i can't backup half of my save file in my old hdd because it refuse to be copied to my new hdd.i don't really care about my earned trophy

You can try an FTP backup, but more then likely the save file is keyed to the unique ID of your console HDD before you put in the new HDD. All game saves are found in /dev_hdd0/home

Check the link from tthousand. That's the right way to fix the game saves after you back them up.
