CONFIRMED: A way to get v3.42 games working on our v3.41 Jailbroken Machines!

This is what i done i edited the param.sfo to 3.400 to stop the asking for update to come up. Then i replaced the eboot.bin with the one from castlevania loaded the game and updated the game and it loaded the game that was it. Not sure if any other games work though as only have john dailys

i edited the param.sfo with hexeditor i made the part where is says 3.42 to the same as eyepets param.sfo that was 3.4000 ?. also i used the latest psgroove hermes waninko math hex on pic18f25550 from illness. Hope this works on other games as cant try as going on holidays. also had patch on in open manager.

yeah like 121 could be trusted.. he said the same thing in the Medal of Honor thread.. check his previous posts..

edit: i'll believe it if about 5 people confirms it..

edit2: @jonnny: don't get the wrong idea, i'm not saying you're lying, i'm just saying 121's confirmation can't be trusted based in his previous posts..

I guess 3.40 and 3.41 used the same encryption keys - so maybe it's possible.
But i really doubt it, that it will work for 3.42.

Anyways could be a great discovery for people von 3.15 - maybe it's now possible to play all 3.41 games on 3.15...

Someone should test it with 3.42.
