Castlevania EBoot.bin not found
Castlevania EBoot.bin not found –
this is my first post on here, i recently bought a PSGrooPIC USB device. dont know much about it, im a newbie. i have installed open manager and have tried to back up the games which i own. they work fine except for Castlevania i get an error 'EBoot.bin not found' how do i fix this? please keep in mind im a newbie. Castlevania is installed on the internal HD and i am using firmware 3.41. also if anyone can give me any tips on the whole backup and getting games to work thing.
Have you tried deleting it and dumping it again?
yes i have, the eboot.bin file is there but it does not recognise it. also what do i do with the updates that you have suggested?
thats odd.. I run Castlevania Lords of Shadow just fine (internal HDD) I'm using the PL3 payload BEFORE psn, on a minimus v1, I can't think of any reason why you'd be getting that error.

Fix permissions my ass. A request that comes up ONLY in inferior software.
Use Open Manager & Hermes. You will never be asked to fix permissions; something of which I consider to very dubious.
Anyway, seems he's sorted it out.
A problem I had with some games when I was backing up my copies was that I needed to delete my existing game saves/installs from when I was playing them off the disc. Some games like fallout 3 goty I didn't have to delete my saves and installs( good thing to I was at lv 23 at the time) but dead rising 2 wouldn't work until I deleted the info created while playing from disc.
