cant play new titles yet..any suggestions?

ok. im just wondering what're the options for the rash of new titles because im still on 3.41, w/ hermes payload on usb stick, and multiman. i have everything set up as far as eboots, param's to work w/ this and dont want to mess that up. any suggestions?

I'm confused. What games are you talking about. Both Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 have eboot fixes for 3.41. If you're talking about other games that haven't been cracked yet then you just have to wait like we do on 3.55. It'll happen. There's a rumor that all games will be playable shortly.

Oh, and good luck getting your prepatched games to work with anything besides 3.41. Those will mess everything up on higher FWs. Hope you have legit backups!

Don't worry about that. If you decide to upgrade to 3.55 CFW just do a search in google "original eboot game name". There are several online archives of original eboot files for people upgrading their firmware

i still have original f/w. i dont think even those 2 titles work on mine as i tried uncharted 3 and it goes back to xmb after clicking the title from xmb. there are several out there like batman, fifa, nba, etc. ill wait it out

Unless you're using OtherOS or a dongle that has specific features you need like cheat support or whatever then I would upgrade to 3.55 CFW. Any CFW based off of KMEAW will serve you well. Like I said you'd just have to replace your patched eboots with the original ones. There are several places to find them and you shouldn't have any trouble replacing them all. Let's say you have 100 games. It shouldn't take more than an hour to download them all and put them in the right spots on your PS3. If you have trouble finding any specific ones just ask. I have over 250 or I can point you to where to find them. Good luck

I don't understand why you would need to update tho because there a eboot fixes starting to show up for the new games for 3.41

thank you all for the responses. im just going to wait it out at this time. 100+ new eboots seems like quite a bit too much.

I am on 3.41 aswell..

I just played BF3 and Uncharted 3 without problems..but some day I will take time and download 100+ eboots and upgrade maybe

It really is worth the upgrade. You get much better compatibility. It really isn't that big of a deal to replace your eboots. You can find the original eboots in several centralized locations and like I said if there are any missing, then I or someone else on here probably has the missing ones. All you'd have to do is ask
