Is it a 3.56 game? Could well be, to find out for sure open the sfo file with an sfo viewer, or download "ps3 list 1.5" and check...

If so you'll need to run ebootfixer on it, it's included with the Multiman "full" package (thread stickied on this sub forum).

Very easy to use, you basically drag the game folder onto the "ebootfixer" exe file and then a dos box will pop up stating it's progress fixing the game, takes about 3-5 mins. After that you'll have a folder in the ebootfixer directory, (Well you'll have 2 but you only want 1 of them).

Open the folder with [retail] in parenthesis like that <- then copy the contents overwriting the original ones.

It will almost definately work then.

Once you have fixed it or confirmed it's a 3.55 game. Try placing it on external drive, and starting the game by pressing select+x in multiman (of it doesn't work normally on internal\external)
ps3haze - I love the fact that everyone has these grand ideas with no idea what they're talking about... I'm not saying that I've done anything, but I have a good understanding of the complexities involved.
