Can't figure this one out

Ever since upgrading to Kmeaw CFW 3.55 from 3.41, MLB 10 The Show is playing very choppy. I have about 10 other games ripped to my HDD and every single one plays flawlessly. I have tried every manager possible and it made no difference. I also deleted the game from the HDD, deleted all game saves and game data, ripped the game again, and FTP'd it back to the PS3, and that didn't help either. When I loaded the game in the newest version of Rogero manager, it did give me the message that the fix permissions was needed so I clicked yes to that. Please, if anyone knows what the problem could be, I am ready to blow a gasket.

slow loading hdd speed could be an issue. maybe it's dying? have you tried the same game from external?

how are u managing to rip the game then ftping it ??

I rip it in the PS3 and then FTP it to my pc so I can have a backup of the files. It wasn't working so I deleted everything from the PS3 and then FTP'd it back to the PS3. @ ichibaka, I can't play the game from an external because there is a 9gb file for the game.
