Can I run downloaded game from backup manager

I dont want to use the patching method, cant I just use the backup manager to run the game? I am using the latest Rogero Manager and my directory to put the games is set to dev_hdd0\ GAMEZ however when I put ninja gaiden in dere it didnt show up in the backup manager :s please help me

i don't see why this is classified as a piracy thread. there are no links, no mention of any sites or games per se. he is simply asking whether it is possible to run a downloaded game via the managers. im sorry but labeling this as a piracy discussion thread is the kind of pc bullshit that creates needless drama.

the rules clearly say "DO NOT attach or post direct links to warez on this forum." and he did neither. quit trying to be a saint and anti-piracy crusader in exchange for brownie points from the admins.

and to answer your question uzishotz, yes you can run then using the BM, just install the FTP pkg and upload the full game folder to your PS3. otherwise as amp2006 said copy from external to internal and it should work. either method will be fine, unless your downloaded game is missing files or is corrupted.

tntdude, I can't speak for anyone else but personally I'd rather this site didn't get targeted by the over-zealous Sony lawyers. I'm not anti-piracy as such but I don't see the harm in using more discreet language to discuss it.
