can i have 2 usb drives attached?

i have a slim with of course 2 usb port. i am on 3.55 kmeaw so have no need for a dongle

1. can i have 2 usb drives attached for games? will backup managers recognize both? my preference is MM- anyone know if this will work?

2. i also have move. i'd like to have 2 usb drives AND the ps eye connected all at the same time. because i have a slim, i'll need a hub or something... i thought i saw a cheap-ass Nyko plug in that you attached to the front which makes the 2 ports into 4. think this will work? i guess more specifically, will both usb drives work if connected through a hub?

any thoughts appreciated

yes you can have 2 usb drives. Not sure about the hub though.

yes a hub will work i have one which means i have 5 usb in total all work. i got a belkin 4 port hub about £2.50 off ebay new.

Yes you can have as many USB hdd as your hub will allow, long as they are powered externally

Little note to people wanting a USB hub.
Be careful what one you buy. My good friend encountered a odd thing with these USB hubs.He went to use it on a new PS3 Slim and it would not work(he says it worked on his Phat).Little sniffing around we found that you have to make sure that the Hub you are going to buy has a internal power source for itself and not depending on the PS3 for its power.

USB Hubs for slim??? No I dont ......
Like I said it was my buddy who noticed all this....
I was actually wanting to eventually get one, so if anyone is reading this and has a working USB hub for there slim....

i have two differnet hubs and both are differnet makes, both work on slims and both run just fine depending on the PS3 for its power no internal power source needed

I bought the one from deal extreme that converts the 2 usb ports into 4. Works fine now that I am on cfw - didn't work when I was using a dongle in situ (meaning I could only use it AFTER I had initially jailbroken on 2 ports and then removed the dongle to install it).

What I mean is that the hub in question needs to have an external port to connect to a powered AC adapter.
