If I put a bluray movie in my ps3 can i copy the raw contents of it using multiman through ftp to my pc? I'm using kmeaw 3.55. Thanks!

It's just like ftping the contents of a game to a computer.

When ripping your movie, or just about to FTP it, MM show's the location on the HD it's on. Like this:
Spiderman 3
/hdd0/something/something/something/

but the bluray is in the drive. why would it show in hdd0? i don't want to dump it to my PS3 HDD but directly ftp it to my PC? when i ftp and go to the drive folder it shows ps3 game folders. that can't be right because i have a movie inside and not a game disc. I'm really confused.

Ok I tried that now. Regardless, of what ftp client (filezilla, cuteftp,...) i use it either fails or creates o byte files.

Are you using Blackb0x as your FTP server on your PS3? I've never tried this, but you'd think that the copy protection would be stripped when it's in a player.

yes. is there any easy tut you know to install linux on kmeaw? that may be the only option left now.
