im having problems booting my Call Of Duty of the HDD

i have a PS3 slim 320GB Retail HDD and i have a friend that has lent me the game. i install it to my internal HDD and i can never boot it. the closest i get is a black screen

what am i doing wrong ? i have Wanikoko 3.55 CFW and i read a guide that i needed to install a 3.41 eboot patch. and 1.02 game update. if i need fresh files that is not a problem but im trying to firgure out how to get it to run

i have MultiMan and Rogero signed for 3.55 for my back up managers thanks

You don't need to patch eboots/use demo updates if you're using the new CFWs. That's what your problem is. Once you backup the game, just run it with MultiMan. It will ask you to install the 1.05 update from the i-net, accept and when it finishes, enjoy COD:BO. Also, stop patching eboots!!! It's not needed anymore (thought I'd say it twice so you'd get the point)

MW2 is one of those has never worked when JBing games. There's a compatibility list here: PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home but, it's still being slowly updated for all the eboot patching/3.41 or 3.55 signing/now 3.55 CFW's. So, use it as a guide, but not as a end all.

    I Beg to Differ

I have a broken Blue ray drive, and i cannot load alot of games fomr backup manangers so i use modifyed eboots, I think it is Better this way if you dont have a blue ray drive. Unforntionaly mines busted and i have to use the PKG Method. Black ops Boots fine on my ps3 no disc in drive. i can single player but i cant multiplayer..

Also ther is a patch for MW2 to run it off the game xmb menu ONLINE with NO disc/ bm managers.

I am waiting for somone to patch or figure out how to do this to black ops. t5mp_ps3f.self is the file that needs to be signed and able to boot on CFW.. Any one know how to sign self files to 3.55cfw?
