    i have BLUS30591 (us version) freshly downloaded and havent edited anything, i removed my old files from the ps3 that were Europe version so i doubt theres anything left there... someone posted in diffrent thread he had to update before i could run the game, anyone else that has managed to get this game going?

    im using kmeaw CFW and multiman and lv2.pkg, NFS:HP sims 3 etc etc works just fine, only black ops that i get black screen when i launch it... any ideas?

    you must have a disc in the drive for it to work

    I'm thinking the eboot has been modified. http://psx-scene.com/forums/690370-post4.html (Some Original Unmodified Eboots) Download this eboot and replace it with the one you have and see if that works. Backup the original of course

    is there any way to make this work without any disc in drive, my drive is royalys busted and torn apart but i have it in there in order to use homebrew. any way to paly without disc? or do i have to spend 90on a new drive, my ps3 is ceche01 80gb - Kmeaw 3.55 cfw installed

    I've gotten the US edition of COD:BO working just fine by backing up my original disk and then running it from Rogero's BM v7.8 Stealthed / signed for 3.55. It asked to install 1.05 (or is it 1.5) and I accepted. Got online and played for about an hour. No issues.

    Also, in the future, would you please say you backed up a game and are having X problem with it. We kind of frown upon downloading (yes yes, we know a lot of users do it, but this isn't a warez site, so we like to keep it to a minimum). Also, it will keep you from getting flamed by other users.

    did you have to use disc in the drive for it to boot?

    I've got eu version of black ops..01039... using ofw3.55 and new gaia manager, all I get is black screen after replacing boot.bin with original. All other games work, any ideas?

    isd there any way to patch the eboot.bin to boot without a disc in the drive?

    Seriously, starting off with that would of got you tossed out of here a few months ago. How things have changed.............
