Burnout Paradise problem
Burnout Paradise problem –
I am on kmeaw's firmware and I am trying to play my copy of Burnout Paradise from the hard drive but it just sits at the loading screen with the indicator moving but never finishing after I start it.
Do I have to wipe the game data to fix this (I would prefer not to due to my disconnecting the network to save any PSN bans)
If I do have to and can download the update pkg's separate (I know how) how would this affect all my paid DLC for that game since I don't know how to get those downloads again without connecting to the PSN.
You need to fix your permissions. Run this: FIX_PERMISSIONS_Waninkoko_CFW_3.55.pkg
Yes it says waninkoko's permissions but it works for any CFW. it will get you past the loading screen. BO Paradise works fine for me. Didn't have to remove gamedata.
That didn't work. Still stuck at the loading screen. I even deleted then re-ripped the game and ran the fixer on the new rip and it still doesn't work.
I got it figured out after deleting the game data and it started working I tested by installing just the first (1.3) patch and it still worked then after going up 2 patches to 1.5 it still worked but then I jumped to 1.8 and it stopped working again. Apparently the later patches cause problems and the game can no longer work disk-less I am running it all the way up to 1.9 with a game in the system and not using app_home.
Are you running it disk-less and fully patched?
