Hey guys, I've got FW 3.41, I've put Bulletstorm on my PS3's harddrive, and I downloaded an apparent 3.41 eboot fix but it didn't work, just keeps saying I need to update to 3.55 in order to play the game. Then I used multiman's eboot fix application and that didn't work either. Using Backup Manager and psgroove usb method (The one that came out when the ps3 was first hacked).

Any help would be great, thanks.

You have to use the ebootfix tool on an original eboot, not a modified one. And, the eboot you're looking for is in the Eboot.bin repository. Just do a search.

Ok, so I did the entire multiman tutorial and this is what I got: I could run Bulletstorm from Backup Manager, but before it started it gave me an error saying that the Game Data was corrupt and that I needed to delete the Game Data before I could play; Only problem is, I don't have any Bulletstorm game data on the ps3. I also tried running the game from the pkg file, this shows the very first bulletstorm intro screen, but then it just stays on a black screen afterwards. I've been trying different methods for about 3 hours now so I'm gonna take a break for now. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Just grab the 3.41 eboot from the eboot thread and edit your param.sfo if needed then you should be good to go. If needed I would delete the first backup of the game and do a fresh backup then just replace the eboot. Or you can update to 3.55 cfw and get rid of the dongle..............sudeki300

Ok I just searched through the eboot thread but it's huge and I can't find anyone that has posted the 3.41 eboot. Also how do I edit the param.sfo? Thanks

Most of the popular managers will patch the param.sfo for you without the need for you to edit it yourself! I suggest you use one of them. Also use the actual search tool on the thread itself rather than trawling through each page of the eboot repository! You know where it says "Search this thread".....
