Brand new PS3 giving me backup problems

My old PS3 had a BD issue so I went and bought a new one just the other day. I bought some games from a friend yesterday and backed them up with the latest MULTIman. MLB 11 just flashes at the SCEA screen. God of War 3 and the others continually return me to XMB after I select the disc icon or APP HOME PS3 GAME from the XMB. even though I had it running fine discless on my old PS3. Everything was setup the exact same way on both machines.

Is it just a problem with this PS3 or does anyone have any ideas? Ive tried everything I can think of, (different managers, eboots, made sure the discs were clean...etc.) but nothing works. All the games I have are confirmed working by people on here. (GOW 3, Resistance 1, MLB 11, Super Street Fighter 4, and uncharted 1) but they do not work on my ps3. :crazy:

have you tried the fixpermissions.pkg? also withing MM R1 fixes permissions, and dont forget to install BDEMU.PKG since is not included in MM anymore :)

Didn't think about the fixpermissions pkg, downloading it now. I have gone thru MM and pressed R1 on all the games to make sure that isn't an issue. The strange thing is, these games all work fine on my old PS3 (except God of War of course) if I FTP the files from the new one to my pc and over to the old one.

Everything about these PS3s are configured the same (Kimeaw 3.55, same Multiman, BDEMU installed on both, and IrisManager, and Rogero)

edit: fixpermissions.pkg gives me an 8001009 error when I select it.

edit 2: Problem solved...I installed lv2 patch v9, ran it and selected the syscall 36 payload, then found and ran fixpermissions.pkg. I had downloaded the wrong version of it earlier hence the error code. Now everything works!
