Booting GT5 on 3.55

I can’t seem to boot gt5 on 3.55. I have downloaded the 1.09 game patch for 3.55 off ps3scenefiles.com however when I go to boot the game it “installs game data” and updates it to 1.13.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
Note: I’m using a true blue dongle. I just thought that this didn’t belong in the true blue dongle section because it is not using a TB patch

did the game work before the patch and if your trying to instal 1.09 patch but its installing the 1.13patch then there could be a mix up in the files try getting the 1.09 patch from a different source. i dont normally install the patches unless there is a massive difference the way i look at it is why fix something that is not broken lol.

No the 1.09 pkg is fine. When i go to boot gt5 it installs a 1.13.
I thought GT5 came out in 2010. Why does it require 3.72?

I think the max you can update the game is 1.11+ fix , pass the 1.11> will make the game asking for fw 3.72, its not the game requires 3.72 but the update! gt5 is a 3.50 fw game!
If you have the 1.09 pkg just use and stay in that update(desinstall all game data first), cancel the update request in game.
