Black ops Working on 355 waz cfw

Hi all,

Has any one managed to get cod bo to work. I've tried changing the EBOOT with ones i have fund on here but still get a black screen when i try to boot from the xmb, via gaia mananger 2.01.

Anyone have any ideas??

you need a disc in the drive for it to work. i currenty have a busted drive and i run black ops from the main manu. i cant get online tho. I am hopeing somone will release a patch so you can run it without a disc in drive becuase mine is broken

Yeah. Right. It was sarcasm anyway...

I was pointing out the fact that you can't backup the game through the PS3 while it's drive is dead, but he has Black Ops on his PS3.

Ironic statement for the many people that state they are desperate for custom firmware which will allow them to play their backups because their drive is broken. If they had the ability to back up the discs, they have the ability to play them (with the exceptions of ones requiring a disk to be in the drive, as in this case)

But it does make you wonder why they bother backing it up at all if it requires a disk to play anyway. It's just a waste of HDD space at that point, right?

Here's another hint. You don't need to change any of the files. If all files are original from a backup, you just load the game via your BM and you have to have a disk in the drive. If you're connected to online, it will ask you to update, which you can say yes or no to and it will work either way.

uhh i had this sitting around and the drive was busted.. when i know you could unlock them i riped my own purchased games from my buddys ps3 to me pc and bak to my broken drive ps3.

Anyway. any work on this would help.

Did you even read what i was saying.. my bddrive is busted... and black ops works in xmb with pkg. Well all know they work with bm.
