Best practise for backup?
Best practise for backup? –
Hi, quite new to the ps3-jailbreak scene, but I've finally repaired my non-working blu ray drive. I have a CECHG03 model ps3, which I've remarried a new blu ray drive (although the machinism doesn't work still, so I'm making a flip-top mod instead, but anyway, it's reading discs fine)...so I'm just wondering, before I start backing up my games, is there a certain method to back up which is better than ny other for some reason?
I mean, is there a certain "standard format" backup or something like that, just incase I eve need to change to a different backup manager or entirely different firmware or soemthing?
I just don't want to go through the process of backuing up my nearly 200 disc collection, only to find out that I need to do it all again because some new firmware update has been released.
I preferably want most of the games to run discless, so that I can put the backed up game discs into storage to make some space in the bedroom, but again, I don't know if this is something which can be altered afterwards, or if there is a certain method to backup in this wway?
i's all a bit confusing software wise :s
any help clearing this up would be great,
