    Do you need to :

    1. Startup in JB mode
    2. Place PKG (from the downloaded RAR file) onto USB stick
    3. Install PKG (you have to do this FIRST ? Before copying the game over ?)
    4. Continue from Step 2 above....

    Is that right ?

Well, my method is explained like copying the game to internal hdd, and create shadowlinks (or hardlinks) of the needed directories. Please proceed as described and you get it started. I know it's a long way, but I couldn't get it to work easier for you :/

At least its working, there's room for improvement of this crack tho ^^

I can't get it to work, it blackscreens and hangs. Instructions are confusing as hell, here's what I did, please correct me:
    -Installed the .PKG
    -Transfered backup BCES00068 to dev_hdd0/GAMES
-Created the XMB folder since it wasn't there, and created a shadowcopy of dev_hdd0/GAMES/BCES00068/ps3_game into dev_hdd00/XMB. Renamed XMB/ps3_game into XMB/0068
    -Made a shadowcopy from dev_hdd0/GAMES/BCES00068/ps3_game/USRDIR in dev_hdd0/game/BCES00068/
    -copied PARAM.SFO to dev_hdd0/game/BCES00068/
-chose the game, returned to XMB and launched ir from the XMB, not from app_home but from where all the installed PSN games appear.

that resulted in a blackscreen... did I do something wrong? Using Hermes v4b btw, on OFW 3.41

edit: NVM just installed... apparently the XMB folder must be uppercase for it to work
