Batman Arkham City on 3.41 help

Okay folks. Not sure whats going on here but I'm trying to get Arkham City working on my setup. Setup is hermes 3.41, tried using external first then internal using this patch: [UP1018-BLUS30538_00-ARKHAMCITY0PATCH.pkg]. Tried using bdmirror option on external. The patch is for 3.55 admittedly but usually the patches for 3.55 work on 3.41. (As is the case for Twisted Metal, the game loads and plays fine.) I have been waiting a long time to get this game working. I finally bought these two games today and while Twisted Metal is working and I'm pleased with that, Batman Arkham City is not and I'm pretty bummed. The game is the US version. If anyone can give me advice on this or a link to a working patch that was made specifically for 3.41 I would be very appreciative. While browsing the forums here looking for information on the subject I did find someone had made a patch for 3.41 but it was reportedly not working. I get the typical black screen when trying to load the game from game icon. the hdd light goes for a few seconds then the screen flashes and goes black and freezes requiring a hard reset.

On a side note: 3.41 is not dead, there are plenty of users out there who wish to keep 3rd party controller functionality and do not wish to move from 3.41. Like me for instance, I have a lot of time and money invested into my setup with 3.41hermes and 2tb of games on external. I do not want to re-rip and re-patch all my games in order to work on 3.55 which requires eboot patches on most games anyway and has no benefit over 3.41 whatsoever. I would rather give up altogether than to dig all my ps3 discs out of storage and do this all over again, the space saved from stacks of games to one hdd is the reason I got into this scene in the first place. Devs please keep the 3.41 patches and software coming, you've been pretty good about it so far, and I do appreciate that; please don't give up on it.


Someone please help me get Batman Arkham City working on 3.41!!

I guess I will just have to add these games to my 'not fixed yet' pile for now.


Sniper Ghost Warrior works with bdmirror on.

Out of 8 games bought yesterday, 2 are working for me, I guess that's better than none considering the fixes are all for 3.55...

Can anyone explain or shed some light on why these 2 games work for 3.41 but the others do not? What am I missing here?

i havent seen a working patch for 3.41. i was on 3.41 until feb of this year. i finally made a switch to 3.55 tb cfw and it wasnt a problem at all. i had about 10 titles not working on 3.41 and then 8 titles working had stopped. they were simple to fix as i just overwrote to tb versions on 10 titles to get them working and on the 8 titles i just removed the bd mirror setting. i didnt have to update ALL of the titles. i dont use third party controllers so i didnt lose anything there but that sux they would remove that. guess i better tell a co worker that was thinking about buying an nfl team controller because he is on 4.21 firmware i would imagine. i got tired of waiting on 3.41 patches that never came 6 months prior to upgrading. good luck.

Well I updated to 3.55 a couple days ago so I could play the newly fixed games. I went directly from hermes 3.41 to kmeaw 3.55 even though I read it was risky. I didn't have any problems or brick issues. I was willing to risk it just to have an excuse to get an e3flasher, but was also pretty relieved it worked fine. "In theory it would work" is what I read about updating this way as opposed to moving to 3.55ofw then to kmeaw3.55cfw, but I can attest that it does work if anyone is questioning it. Obviously I take no responsibility for bricks or other issues from people trying this themselves but I can tell you it works. So far the only issues on games I've had since the update is on newer games that have been recently fixed, but it looks as though most of those problems have been because I got some bunk patches. Some of the games are now working while I'm still having problems with others.
