The New titles are having problems like freezes especially when they try to connect to the ps3 hdd.
Seems it's all due to eboot.bin being fixed but something in it get's corrupted.
Currently Games Tested.
Dynasty Warriors 7 empires
Tomb Raider
All of these have save problems and exiting them will cause freeze.
Seems like decrypter tools need to be updated to be able to fix properly eboots.
Dynasty Warriors 7 for example freezes whenever you try to save your EDIT Officer or install game data.
Bad bad, really. Nice move Sony bastards!

Could this be a result of some kind of new system libraries that are not present in 3.55? I've heard that fixing games for 3.55 involve more than decrypting and then encrypting with 3.55 keys. Like you have to actually alter the code to work on older firmwares.

yes, that's what I think.
There are some new functions added by the sony-retards which are only 4.xx fw only.
Anyway. The PS3 3.55 CFW will be only as test cfw for me. It's no more backup compatible cfw for new titles.

exactly.
What i think is that the decrypters remove some dummy data from the eboot bin thus decreasing the size of the file with a byte if you have noticed. Maybe this time the area is not exactly "dummy".
