backup managers not finding the split parts
backup managers not finding the split parts –

I downloaded file splitter for my windows pc and started to check games in my collection with files bigger than 4 gb, i found that red dead redemption and vanquish and a couple more had files bigger than 4gb so i did split all of them and putted all of them in my external hdd, i went to gaia manager and started to copy red dead redemption but before that i did the testing thing that claimed i had split files for rdr. All good, the game was backed up to my internal hdd and i tried it and it played perfectly, than i turned my eyes to vanquish and uncharted 2 and maybe another game that i cant recall just to find out that gaia manager was not recognizing the split files inside those games even tho it did right for rdr! I'm afraid i messed up because i did not save the original file that was split and only got the 2 split files for the games, is there any reason why gaia manager or multiman and open manager(i tried all 3) not to find these split parts and a way to make it do so?

i do not remember what program i used but i think the name was the one i typed before, ps3 file splitter and that is it, the file i split was from vanquish the "data" file that turned into 2 files called "data001.cpk.1.part" and "data001.cpk.2.part" . I dont know if these where the same extensions for the killzone2(that did work) and RDR, and i cant even tell you because i already deleted the files from my hdd as soon i found out that both games where working but using the same program and not changing any options so i presume they were the same.
any tips?

I still trying to figure this out, is there any way of making the file split turn into one file again?

Use the splitter 4g found in multiman's post...
Make sure you use the .66600 method..
That's how mine is and works perfectly.
If you have .1.part , rename it to .66600 then .2.part , to .66601 .. etc..
I hope that helps.
