it works fine until the first loading screen, then it just goes black and i can still press home button but yeah it doesnt work anyone know how to get it to work? thanks in advance!

I never had any problems with it, installing it straight from the original disc.
That is the Collector's Edition BLES00699.

I haven't really played far into the game as yet, but it definitely loads and runs as far as I have tried it.

Possibly your problem relates to trying to run it with empty BD drive, which does not work well. For me it still loaded, but that may be due to unknown differences between our setups, causing the problems to give different symptoms. But with a game disc in the BD drive I have seen no problems. Then all of my games run fine from HDD, except one, so that one game is the one I have chosen to always keep in the BD tray.

That problem game is Disgaea3 in case you wonder.
That game does not load at all from HDD, even with original disc in tray.
(Tested with 3 dongle methods and various payloads and BMs.)

So that is the one game I must always play from BD disc, and therefore it makes sense to keep that disc in the drive to help all the other games run well from HDD. (Started via the BD disc icon, that is.) This way I never have to change discs at all... (Unless I want to watch a blueray movie, which is very rare...)

I have the Eur Ultimate edition and it works but runs incredibly slow... I thought that it just blackscreened on me but I walked away and came back about 5 mins later and it was loaded...but im not sure how long it actually took to load...you might try that....
