Atelier Rorona Infinite Loading Problem

Hi everyone, I've been playing Atelier Rorona for a while now and I cannot get past this problem:

I'm on my 3rd assignment right now. When I try to access the 3rd area of Ortoga Ruins (the area that takes 2 days to travel to), the game would get into the typical black loading screen with a flower ring on the bottom, however, it's just stuck there forever. The music keeps playing, but nothing comes up. I can call up XMB, but its extremely laggy, and when I attempt to quit game, my PS3 reboots. This happens to me every single time.

I'm running Kmeaw's CFW 3.55 using the latest Gaia and Rogero Manager. I tried to run the game off both external and internal HDD, none of that seems to help.

If anyone has successfully gotten past the 3rd assignment, could you please kindly try the stuff I did above (go to Ortoga Ruins' 3rd area) and see if you get the same issue? I have the US version of the game.

Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

same problem... you can resolve this if you re-copy your backup to the HDD.. then delete the game data and re-install it.

i used to have that problem... but the thing happend to me is, when i go to Rorona's House, it stucks on loading... the problem triggers on the very same scene. Weird isnt it?

Also recently happend the same thing on Tales of Graces f.. it stucks with loading.. but the PS3 still reponsive and can quit to XMB. I did the same solution on Rorona game.

It's definitely a bizarre issue. I think it might have to do with the CFW. I've beaten ToGf while I was still under 3.41, and I didn't encounter issues like this. Might give ToGf another try (still need to play future chronicles) under the new CFW.

ohh btw can you share me your save file so i can test it on my backup if it hangs..

I accidentally deleted my save files (i beat the game last year october).

ok ... I tried your savefile and it works fine on my side.. no infinite loading.. see video below for live run

Suggestion:

Use LV2 Patch v4 and Open Manager... Since im having problem with Rogero and any BM except Open Manager.

I was just gonna ask you about this since I tried your method (installing to internal and reinstall the game) using Gaia 2.04 and ended up with the infinite loading screen again.

It looks like manual lv2 patching + OM is the way to go. I'm gonna try this first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks again for your help man! =)
