GT5 prologue did not have patches on the sony servers, they were downloaded direct from dev servers after sign in to PSN ingame. GT5 will almost definitely work the same, I'd be quite surprised if any debug patches came up in the usual way. It is also very likely to be fully compiled for 3.50, not just the EBOOT only.

Of course if I'm wrong it'll be a nice surprise indeed but I think it would be really stupid of them to allow this loophole.

They went out of their way to force it through a newer level of version control, thus delaying the game by a month in the process. They're not going to have done that just to see the eboot patched and the game cracked within hours of it's release, if not before.

i installed the debug update, and i only get error ( 80010009 )

I have only tested to change the param.sfo to 3.400 and then i installed the debug, and that param.sfo say 3.300 so i dident change anyting, but i get that error

Oddly, that error normally indicates a problem with a bluetooth device.

I'm having same problem. Without debug update it just gives a black screen. With debug update I'll get error 80010009, with modified eboot.bin It just flickers the screen few times and boots back to XMB.

I dont know anything about all of the this. But anyone have the beta, maybe something from the beta can make the retail version work.

As i said im no expert, just a thought.

Wrong, unless AC2 had multiplayer.

The game is basically AC2 level pack with MP, hence the filename. The files are legit.
