I also bought a new tv so i was a little away those last two days. now i'm going to change/renew my "buddy's room" to profit plainly of this new tv and new computer.
Ps3 scene is going really fast i saw some new manager named sexy and pretty manager.
They were adding some great stuff too i think that your next version depending of what openmanager could do will be also more and more splendid.
Glad to hear about the new TV
as for the Pretty Manager & Sexy Manager I tried them too, and that's almost what i had in mind from the beginning ( a professional GUI )
but those builds Pretty/Sexy Manager have lot of problems, like Text overriding borders, miss-alignments, etc... I think the coder is rushing his releases too much, personally I would never release such un-polished versions even as Demos (not good for the Rogero_Manager reputation
)
other versions of OpenManager like OM1.16 still uses a new Patch-mode with more system calls while HermesV3 have the patch activated by default :
Code:
sys8_perm_mode: function to changes as work 0x80000000000505d0
calls (connected with access permissions)
mode: 0 -> PS3 perms normally, 1-> Psjailbreak by default,
2-> Special for games as F1 2010 (option by default)
in V6.2 I cleaned any patching code completely from the program, so using Hermes V3 : games with controller issues should work without any interaction from the manager, and indeed F1 worked fine, autosaves, saves,everything from first try with V6.2.
Anyway, I'll be watching the progress and i'll wait for things to clear up more about HermesV3 / Patch-Mode (If still needed or not) and in case of a critical fix i'll update the program for sure, otherwise i'll be working on it slowly in my spare times for more tweaked functions and extras like appearance , etc...
