is it any way to spoof your ps3 to play games that need 3.50 to play because i am on 3.41 and the new games out need 3.50 to play so is it any way to spoof it and make it think your on 3.50 when really your on 3.41 and still play any back up games. so it saves me changing the eboot bin files and swaping files over because i am confused with doing all that so is it any firmware out that would let you play the new games that need 3.50 to play. help.

Err, just update to one of the CFW versions then.....probably kmeaw's one...?!

A cfw is a custom firmware which is a modified version of the official firmware adding features.

the cfw of kmeaw is based on 3.55 official firmware, and it adds the possibility of launching hombrews. You may found how to install it here http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/cfw...request-76406/

And you don't need to modify any eboot of your games. We needed that to launch games that requires 3.50 and above in 3.41. It's useless if you are in a 3.55 CFW

ok thank you very much, one more question lol.. so if i download what you are telling me the new games that require 3.50 to play will work automatically like gt5 ect with out swapping files and doing the eboot file, but will i need to down the game again using the cfw or just download that and the games should work ?

you wont have to re download the games but you will have to replace any files you changed to the originals for it to work.

Whilst there is this type of questioning going on, I'll ask another n00bish question....When you're on Kmeaw's CFW, you can update any of your games via your online connection can't you ?

That and the fact you can go on PSN are the whole points of making the CFW in the first place I assume ? And of course because you don't have to actually JB the console.

I'm right in thinking that going to 3.55 won't wipe any data will it ?
