Ok I got past the old error and now it's saying there's insufficient space to create a game save file and that it needs 12MB.
ok, got past this error now too and now it installed the trophy data, then just blackscreened and locked the PS3 up.
How did you get past these errors? Did you use the eboot.bin for the US version?
I will try myself later, I just put a larger HDD in my ps3 and I'm ftping all the data to it now.
Well this method in this thread installs a folder in dev_hdd0/game called FONV30000 (notice it's 30000), so I copied the .ini and PARAM.SFO files into there as well as into the USRDIR within that folder too just to be sure.

Game gets past the trophy installation, then tells you about the HDD light flashes when it saves, you click "OK" and then it just freezes on a black screen.
but the game is a complete bugfest on the ps3 and you can't even update thats more troublesome.
Play it from disc then if you're picky.

If I can have a look at the ELF file used to make the bin I could convert this to EU for you.
