3.55 --> 3.41 eboot

hi,

I wanted to run Heavy Rain in the diskless mode (broken laser lens). I have a jailbroken 3.41 ps3 (e3card with v4b). I downloaded the eboot(pkg) file for heavy rain from http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/ps3...-3-55-a-75201/ (PS3 EBOOT Repository for FW 3.55) and tried to install the package but it returns with an error code 80029564. I did a quick research and it seems as if those eboots are only for 3.55. Any chance to make it work on 3.41?

Any help would be appreciated

I won't be able to move back to 3.41 then. I believe that not all games work yet. I haven't seen a working eboot for unchated2, f1 2010 and some other games I currectly use. I am afraid I will lose the ability to play those games for quite a long time. That's way I wanted to stick to 3.41 as for now.

Copy Remaining contents of USRDIR to hdd0/game folder. Dont know whether it works with other version than id posted.

3.55 pkgs are signed for 3.55, so will only work on that firmware. 3.41's will work for others and will work for 3.55 if resigned for 3.55

I am also looking for GOW3 and CoD Black OPS for 3.41. Maybe you have it

Don't have any of those. I have the GOW Collection and MGS4. Currently working on MGS4 as it has several SELFs that need redirecting too. PM me a zip of your EBOOT.bin and Param.sfo for those games and I'll see what I can do. I wont be taking anymore requests after that though, sorry.

Will also need the raw directory contents too (ie icon0.png etc)

I need some help here, kind of new to all this. KMEAW 3.55. Not sure exactly what I am supposed to do, but this is what I did:

Transferred BCES00797 to internal.
Installed package provided above.
FTP to PS3.
Went to hdd0/game/BCES00797/USRDIR and copied contents (only eboot exist)
Took eboot file and transferred to hdd0/GAMES/BCES00797/USRDIR

All I get is a black screen.
