100% Working Uncharted 3 Eboot Fix!

Follow these steps IN ORDER:

(1) Extract all .psarc's into the folder they are already in and then delete them on your HDD.

When you're done it should look like this:

..\USRDIR\build\actor33\
..\USRDIR\build\bin\dc1\
..\USRDIR\build\misc1\
..\USRDIR\build\movies1\
..\USRDIR\build\pak23\
..\USRDIR\build\text1\
..\USRDIR\build\vtex1\

(2) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.

(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included.

(4) Transfer to your PS3, launch in Multiman.

FYI, that NFO is wrong. Here is a better one:

(1) Move PSARC.EXE + zlib.net.dll to \USRDIR\build\main\ of your UNCHARTED 3 GAME DATA folder (not the one included with this package)

(2) Extract ALL *.psarc's into the folder they are already in (\USRDIR\build\main\) on your HDD by dragging each .PSARC file onto PSARC.EXE (delete the .PSARC files after you have extracted them to folders)

When you're done it should look like this:

..\USRDIR\build\main\actor33\
..\USRDIR\build\main\animstream4\
..\USRDIR\build\main\bin\dc1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\pak23\
..\USRDIR\build\main\text1\

IMPORTANT: When you unpack bin.psarc it creates two folders - empty bin folder and one bindc1 folder with files. Rename folder bindc1 to dc1 and put it in the \main\bin\ folder so it looks like this: \main\bin\dc1\

(3) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.

This is how it was worded, a bit confusing

but what I think it means is move the psarcs out of their folder (original game files) then delete them so all thats left in Game's USRDIR isthe files I just mentioned earlier. The use the USRDIR in fix and overwrite the Game's USRDIR files, then swap eboot.bin

FYI i just read this didnt see it up here and dont really trust PS3 news, but yeah it was confusing. Also saying UNCHARTED GAME DATA file could confuse people as they may think its the INSTALL DATA file as thats also called GAME DATA in xmb (even though they wouldnt be able to access that yet unless they used the old buggy eboot).

I got this new version and basically visually i see they moved the eboot.bin into the USRDIR (duh, hahaha) and updated the NFO to reflect the directions Noshi already posted above, as far as anything else if it's different its not immediately apparent.

I try this method and work, on chapter 3 (from usb hd) I open the journal few times without freeze

There is another fix now

Uncharted 3 3 55 FULLFIX-P2P

Follow these steps IN ORDER:

1. Extact Uncharted 3 to your PC.
2. Copy extract.bat ,psarc.exe and zlib.net.dll from the UC3-355FiX.rar to PS3_GAME\USRDIR\BUILD\MAIN.
2. Run the extract.bat (this will extract the required psarc files and delete them when finished).
3. Rename the "bindc1" folder to "dc1" and move it inside the empty "bin" folder.
4. copy the "USRDIR" folder from the UC3-355FiX.rar into the PS3_GAME folder of Uncharted 3 (Click yes to overwrite all files).
5. Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included in the UC3-355FiX.rar.
6. Transfer Uncharted back to your PS3, launch in Multiman.


100% WORKING FIX
- No Freezing
- Journal Works

Same thing, just a more automated method.
