The only error I have discovered by using the Editor is what I explained above in my P.S. remarks. But never anything major. Unless you refer to the two errors that pop-up when you run the app each time? Those are just there to warn the user that if you don't know what you are editing can cause a lot of problems with the file. It's just two warnings that you just press OK and proceed--I wish there was a way to disable those two pop-ups--they get annoying each time I run the app.

But yes, this trick can also be done with Hex Editor, as long as you know how to do the title editing with that tool. But if you are a noob to this, the editor I recommend, will make it easier. Just add (O) at the end of the title of the game, and save it, and then transfer the new saved PARAM.SFO to your game folder (inside the PS3_GAME folder).

Nope i havenot because i have COD Black Ops and its on Italian and Spanish Language which i dont want to play in those language .lol

till i get my English one i will try

But you can still add that hint to any game that requires for you to insert a disc in order to play. This tip is not only for COD. It's a reminder for you to insert a disc to any game that requires it.

yeha i know that but you know what i still dont get what is all about .

you just edit the PARMA.SFO and add ND in order to know that require the BD am i right ?

if yes then i never take out my PES2008 disk for any game its always inserted so i dont have to worry about it .lol

Yeah, but like I said in my notes above. After a while you tend to forget which require a disc and not, especially if you have lots of games.

I read somewhere that by having a disc in the drive, even though it's not doing anything, it wears out the lens and the spinning motor. So it may be best to not have a disc in there for games that don't require it. Only a few games require the disc inserted. So you may save the life of your lens and motor in the long run.

And I would suggest to add (O) than (ND). But its up to you what you want to add there to remind you that game requires a disc to be loaded.

well yeah the lens is gunna die anyway .i will do that then :)

i wish i knew this hint sooner, now i am not going to edit all my SFOs, i hope they make a manager soon where i can mark of it needs a disk and if i need to push r1 for running it patch, now i use a list printed on paper with a pen next to it so i write down every working game of it needs patch.

but was a cool idea.
