Hi there guys my BD drive just decided to die on me and latly i have been trying to get games to work on my internal HDD discless, so far i only managed to get a few of then and only via signed pkg's killzone 2, nba jam, and thats about it, i also tryed uncharted and mvc3 with no sucess but right now my real dilema is MGS4 and my question is simple can i get mgs 4 to work on my internal HDD discless?

Hi there, I know your pain! My BD is broken and to get games working is not that easy =/
But I know that MGS 4 actualy works, plays it from my internal totaly Disc-Less. Dont realy remeber the settings, but might be with emulater, I use kewa and latest multiman with bdemu pkg.
I remember that i instaled bdemu 2 something very weird about my ps3 i dont know if it is normal, i cant run any game from the internal HDD, discless from multiman, i have tried many games, uncharted killzone 2 , mvc3, nba jam black ops, 3d dot heroes, and none of them work i had to install those signed pkg's the only way i have been able to run games with multiman was nba jam and 3d dot heroes that fit in my 4 gb usb flash drive, is anything wrong with my multiman config, i remeber that games like uncharted in the compatibility list work discless and internal, althoug i cant play it, any sugestions?
my MGS4 work Internal Disc-Less, and direct boot from MM without any problem
and yeah weird.. some PPL's won't work proper..
i did back up the game to my PC hdd and installed the game to PS3 internal via FTP to usual place
what i did before started the game, highlight MGS4 in MM press triangle go to permissions and use it, launch the game from XMB,(game will install .data) and then i did first save, back to MM highlight MGS4 press triangle again, switch on internal and direct boot
done.
but not much games can use direct boot features
yeah, when i did direct boot i just get a black screen.
i recently installed CFW kameaw and mm.
i also can not get any games to run from mm.
i installed gaia and the few games i have now run discless from my internal hdd.
mgs4 is actually what im playing right now and it works flawlessly.
if you have steady hands, you can replace the laser. i recently replaced mine and it works fine now. there is plenty of info out there. really in depth info and the youtube videos really help with how to gut the ps3 open.
I intalled gaia and tryed to run it and it didint worked. I noticed something in the gaia screen there is a discless option in gaia and mine is N/A, so i googled a bit and i read that i should install the lv2 patcher, so i installled it and runned it as i know gaia is using syscall36 i used that option i also had 2 more options wakamono ( i dont know if written correctly) and PL something i dont remember, but as i said i used syscall36 and the discless text remaned N/A i dont know if that text is supost to be YES or soething if anyone can help me out thank you.
PS: i will replace the lase eventualy but right now i just came back from vacation and im low on cash so i first have to get some to get the laser and that is going to take a while.
After fresh install of Multiman you need to instal BDEmu package too.
yeah thats preaty much obvious, i have done that of course.
im still trying to get this working, i recently changed to REBUG i formated my HDD installed multiman and bdemu allover again ftp'ed the game back to the internal HDD and i still have no sucess on runing it, direct boot or normal boot i allways have black screen any help guys?
