[Question] How to stop act.dat file from deleting itself after a PS3 reboot?

Every time my ps3 reboots, my act.dat files disappears. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

What caused it was changing out my old PS3 HDD for a larger one. I'm on CFW 3.55 Kw.

act.dat does not delete itself until deregistered by either deleting or changing a hard drive, I assume your ps3 uses nor and not nand as you lost act.dat during a hard drive change which means you had to reinstall the firmware.

Yes, it's a slim model. I guess I'll have to make an app that will copy the file to the correct location. Bummer.
