[BEWARE] CoverManager_r7b deletes files if modified
Yup, basically Jurai is behaving like an arrogant 3 year old. Something of the attitude which moh was pissed of about quite some time ago.
I'm hoping Moh comes up with a newer version of Open Manager with some pretty GUI changes - if he doesn't no big deal. His version is the most stable (and with source) in any case.
I seem to encounter some problems playing The Force Unleashed. At first it was going fine then when i was playing halfway it refused to load, following a reboot the icons in the game section on the xmb just keep loading for long periods of time. If I tried to load a game that would be many gllitches within.
But after another restart i waited 3 mins plus for the icons to load and everything seems to be back to normal.
Though I don't know if this is due to Cover Manager but this happened shortly after i switched from OBM to Cover Manager and I've decided to switch back now.
Do let us know if you encounter the same problem again with OM 1.16 - if not, then we know that "Cover Manager" has compatibility issues as well as an arrogant and non-supportive author.

From this it appears that there might have been a check in r7 but he has removed it in r8
@ PlayStation 3 @ ElOtroLado.net
Yeah that was a really sh1tty thing to do to an open source project.
Haha @ Jurai, so it means he doesn't want anyone to modify his release then. Hope affected people can restore their consoles when files get deleted. Open Manager 1.16 is way better than all the others imho as I consider "stability/compatibility" than "beauty" but if I should choose I will go for sexy manager btw.
I hope some permanent damage hasn't been done.
Whenever i load up my PS3 now and scroll to the games tab it takes about a minute and a half for the icons to appear, they keep showing the loading icon at first.
Funny, I warned everyone of this tool when he first came on the scene. Never thought he'd go to this extreme though. First it was stealing other peoples work in the original Open Manager thread (the one released by the anonymous source), then he came along claiming moh had stolen source even though he didn't have any source posted at that time, and now here he is deleting peoples files off of their HD if they change the source code. That's pretty damn low. This guy is nothing but a troll and a tool. Stay away from his project if you value your system.
