I totally agree with nearly everything you've said.

Although you list the LEDs as being too dim, I don't think we need bright LED's, when playing at night time with my PS3 near the screen I don't want to be blinded by a blue LED.

Also, you CAN install .pkg files from the sd card, but you can't install them one by one, they ALL have to be installed by highlighting the "* Install Package Files" folder, pressing Triangle and then selecting "Install All Packages" which will then install every .pkg you have on your SD card.

My only con is the 4mb memory, it would have been a pro if it had 32mb or more, as any end-user only really needs an ftp server, backup manager and maybe a couple of emulators, I can only fit on Open Manager 2.1 and then the memory is full, I wish they'd release a new version as I'd totally buy it, all in ones are great!

    Thanks for your review btw!

edit: Can fit a copy of Gaia Manager + Blackbox FTP server on the 4mb flash drive, the two main thing any NON developer user needs!

I think the E3 is pretty ok.
No problems at all - easy to use - also the downgrade worked without problems. Okay, lost my BR playback but dont care coz I have a second PS3 for Blu-Ray, PSN and new Games. My old Phat was also very noisy while watching Blu-Rays
Would buy a E3 again - good value for a good price.
Also the support isnt too bad. New stuff from the E3 Team from time to time.
