does anybody have this yet? i am thinking about it since it is mac osx friendly and said that no software is required.

is it really that easy just to copy bin files onto the unit? what about hex files?

They are sending me a review sample. Will have a review up as soon as I get it.

It seems to be similar to P3Go in terms of function. But E3 Card Reader is like a slimmed down version of it. Both in size of on-board memory/storage (128MB vs 4MB)

E3 works any free hermes&kakaroto hex file, just copy those free fw into 4M stick and works .
Does P3GO can use any free PSGROOVE ? they must compile and change into it's special code.

They will be open source starting tomorrow to use Any hex file

Calm down. If your read...I said "seems" similar. I didnt say they are "exactly" the same. I was only basing it on the method of selecting between hermes and kararoto where are TF card is needed (dual boot). Obviously, all dongles are different and have their own special way but in the end, they are the same and have the same purpose...jailbreaking the PSP.

Like I said, my review sample is being shipped (I hope =/ ). Obviously, E3 Cards works on Linux, Mac and Windows. E3 Card also has a drag and drop which so does P3Go. After that, I dont know how the process works for the E3 and thats what my site is for and a few other things I'm curious about. My site is to help potential buyers know more about the product before buying and at the same time, help manufacturers.

As for P3Go using "any" free PSGroove, as of now, No...kinda. P3Go said they will be allowing open source and they just released a new file.

yes we just got this device, it will sell for $34.95 we will start to distribute more of them shortly.

yes it has a true 4Mbyte (not 4Mbit=512KBytes) flash drive built in, support for micro sdhc.

you just drag and drop the files in and it will do updates that way.

E3 card reader gives you best of both worlds, you can use their own firmwares, or just drop any already PSGroov complied hex in if you can't wait for updates, or you want to test your own changes out.

That's what I read on the page of E3 card on Lightake.

Yea I just ordered on but if you go to there main site. E3card-china. Something like that. There files are on there plus you can use any hex file from what they claim.
