E3 PL3 payload with no spoofing?

Does anyone know where I can find a payload for the E3 that doesn't spoof the firmware?

I'm trying to run Mount Alejandro but keep getting the error "Only for 3.41" and every payload I have found spoofs to 3.50 or 3.55!

I only want to swap out the category_game_tool2.xml so I can test out the PS2 feature of the new MultiMAN but have had no luck at all.

Thanks, will give it a try when I got 5 minutes. I'm on my phone so I can't check but if it's a hex file I just name it h.hex and drop it on the 4 meg bit of the E3 right? I have only tried a couple of hex files but I'm not sure I got it right coz I'm quite new to the PS3 scene with payloads and hexs and stuff. Can't wait until it's as easy as the psp was lol

i think it needs to be named k.hex for pl3, rest is correct

Oh arse, I just tried it and it changed the spoof from 3.55 to 3.50 and mount alejandro still would not work. Dunno where I'm going wrong, has anyone with an E3 card managed to get it working? I'm guessing I'm just having a "special" moment and missing something really obvious.

well i thought that was the one without the spoof, but i could be wrong.. this one(attached) definitely should be the normal pl3. unfortunately i dont have my ps3 here to test it myself and ahvent really played around much with the e3 yet either. but there's some dual-boot thingy right? not sure if its preinstalled, if not install it from their website, then put in a micro sd card in the slot, which iirc allows booting in pl3. just try some combinations (k.hex in 4mb drive+sd card inserted/not inserted, and empty 4mb drive+sd card inserted (will need that dual-boot firmware unless its already installed))

if it wont work, you'll have to wait for someone else, who actually got it working, to explain it. im sure people will help out

which hex file did you use to get it to spoof 3.50? i cannot make mine spoof at all... im on 3.41 from the e3 downgrade from 3.50...

So ah, I think it would be a good choice, I am also recommended by a friend:
E3 Card Reader Micro SD/TF Card Reader PS3 Dongle with 128KB Flash
E3 Card Reader Micro SD/TF Card Reader PS3 Dongle with 128KB Flash

E3 card reader gives you best of both worlds, you can use their own firmwares, or just drop any already PSGroov complied hex in if you can't wait for updates, or you want to test your own changes out.
