Coupla questions

Greetings,

I've got one of these E3's from here shipped to the UK in 5 days via UPS for about $50 all in (£35) which ain't too bad considering the p&p cost more than the reader itself. Excellent service I must say.

Anyways, i'm currently running 3.50, was running 3.41 and used PL3 via PSFreedom on my HTC Desire.

Now question is, how easy is it to swap from 3.50 (to play Gt5) back to 3.41 and vice versa,without losing my game saves, Gt5 save game cannot be backed up and I don't want to lose it.

Any help on this appreciated.

Can't you back up gt by go to systems settings and backup?
i heard it can but you can only restore it your own ps3

Thanks for the reply, I tried to back up the GT5 save via the normal route of copying it to a memory stick via the xmb but it won't let me due to copyright.

If I downgrade with my E3 will it be the same as a factory reset?

There's another thread where people were posting their specs and model number of their PS3 and if it had to format or not during the downgrade process. I believe it was something to the affect of, Post here if your blu-ray is still working. There's also a thread that I believe was created by xPretorianx that had a grid going on in it. Check for those, it'll be a helluva lot easier then reading that one I linked before.

oh i bought 4pieces for around 60usd include shipping ups and toll or whaterver pretty cheap

15usd a piece ^^
