3.15 payload??

Would someone be able to tell me what a payload is?
I was reading this thread http://psx-scene.com/forums/f186/e3-...payload-73494/ (e3 firmware 3.15 payload) and they were talking about a 3.15 payload and someone linked in some hex files. Would anyone know if this means that I could jailbreak on 3.15? What does this payload do?

install 3.55 CFW (use kmeaw or rebug)

basically put 3.55 OFW on a flash drive, install it, then install a CFW

don't bother with that.... that is way out of date!!!

And you can still have Other OS support with a firmware like Rebug 3.55.2 OtherOS++ if you're worried about losing it.

Do you know if 3.55.2 has a BD eluminator built into the firmware?

No it doesn't but you can convert to a DEX console which does, I'm guessing you mean to play games discless, and there is a DEX firmware available that has OtherOS support.
